University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Seminar on Microscope Types and Their Applications
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar entitled "A Study of Light and Electron Microscope Types and Their Applications in Life Sciences," with the participation of a number of specialists and students.
The seminar aimed to clarify the importance of microscopic techniques in analyzing cellular structures and tissues with high precision, while also reviewing the latest applications in this field.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Habib Mohsen Hammadi, included a discussion of the pivotal role of advanced microscopes in supporting scientific research, particularly in the fields of histology, cell biology, and medical and industrial applications. He emphasized the importance of selecting the appropriate technique based on the nature of the sample and the research objective.
