University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Visit for Agriculture Students to University Laboratory
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific visit to the university's food processing laboratory in the Garmat Ali complex, as part of the requirements for the Quality Control course for fourth-year students.
The visit aimed to enhance the practical application of knowledge and connect theoretical concepts with real-world practice.
It included a theoretical and practical program during which students learned about quality control mechanisms and the various stages of production, as well as becoming familiar with the laboratory equipment and technologies used to ensure the safety of food products.
The students received a detailed explanation of the quality control procedures, from receiving raw materials to the final product, under the supervision of the course instructors. The instructors emphasized the importance of such activities in developing students' skills and preparing them for the job market.
