University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on the Arabic Language and Cultural Advancement
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Education for Women, held a lecture entitled “The Arabic Language and Cultural Advancement,” with the participation of a number of academic staff and individuals interested in linguistic and cultural affairs.
The lecture aimed to highlight the status of the Arabic language and its role in preserving cultural identity and strengthening national belonging, as well as to underscore its contribution to the transmission of knowledge and the development of civilization.
Delivered by instructor Bayan Ali Abdulrahim, the lecture addressed the challenges facing the Arabic language in the digital age, emphasizing the importance of supporting its use in education and media.
The lecture concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing the presence of the Arabic language and developing its proficiency among younger generations.
