On the 62nd Anniversary of the University of Basrah: The College of Veterinary Medicine Honors Its Staff and Affirms Its Humanitarian Solidarity
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah held a symbolic ceremony marking the 62nd anniversary of the University’s تأسيس, during which a distinguished group of faculty members and staff were honored in recognition of their outstanding efforts and dedicated contributions to the success of the academic year.
In his remarks at the ceremony, the Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yaseen Mustafa, stated that the event was limited to honoring staff in appreciation of their achievements, taking into account the current circumstances in the region. He also affirmed the College’s supportive and sympathetic stance toward the Lebanese and Iranian peoples in facing ongoing challenges.
Dr. Mustafa emphasized the importance of unity and standing in support of the oppressed, noting that the continued scientific excellence and success of the College represent the highest form of resilience and determination to move forward.
