A lecturer at the University of Basrah participates in a workshop on enhancing legal awareness

A lecturer from the College of Law at the University of Basrah, Baqer Ghazi Hanoon, participated in a workshop on enhancing legal awareness, organized by the Basrah Court of Appeal.

The participation included the presentation of a research paper on strengthening legal awareness to reduce extremism leading to terrorism in cyberspace.

The study aimed to address mechanisms for legally safeguarding society against hate speech and digital extremism, as well as ways to activate legal frameworks to counter the exploitation of cyberspace in terrorist activities.
