University of Basrah Discusses Smart Technologies for Sustainable Aquaculture Development
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled "Smart Technologies in the Service of Sustainable Aquaculture."
The seminar, presented by Dr. Adel Qassim Jassim, aimed to introduce the latest smart technologies in developing aquaculture systems, particularly artificial intelligence applications, the Internet of Things, and smart monitoring systems.
The seminar addressed the use of smart sensors to monitor water quality and measure environmental variables, thereby enhancing fish health and reducing mortality rates.
It also discussed the role of modern technologies in optimizing resources and improving production, contributing to sustainable aquaculture and enhancing food security.
