University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on the Political Role of Khan Nuri
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the political and military role of Mirza Agha Khan Nuri in Iran (1807-1885).
The workshop aimed to highlight the role played by Mirza Khan Nuri in Iran during his tenure as Grand Vizier.
The workshop included a lecture presented by researcher Hanaa Khudhair, who discussed the history of modern Iran and the political and military transformations the country witnessed, particularly regarding the rivalry between Britain and Tsarist Russia over the country's resources.
