The University of Basrah Organizes a Training Course on Statistical Analysis Using Python: From Data to Decisions
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Administration and Economics, organized a training course entitled “Statistical Analysis Using Python: From Data to Decisions.”
The course aimed to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of Python programming and its applications in data analysis, while linking these skills to labor market requirements.
The course, delivered by lecturers Shaimaa Qasim Mohsen Al-Jouda and Noor Ali Saijil, included practical applications using specialized libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
It also addressed the development of analytical models and the visualization of results to support decision-making processes.
The course recommended the adoption of Python techniques and artificial intelligence to enhance analytical efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making based on modern datasets.
