The University of Basrah Participates in the Launch of the Ministerial Digital Platform for Training and Development
The Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning at the University of Basrah, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, participated in the launch ceremony of the eduba platform for continuous training and development, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with broad participation from presidents of universities and Iraqi academic institutions.
The workshop, held via virtual communication platforms, aimed to promote digital transformation and professional development in higher education, representing a qualitative shift in the trajectory of Iraqi higher education toward adopting open digital learning models.
The workshop included the launch of the Ministry’s strategic initiative, along with a comprehensive presentation of the platform and its objectives as part of the digital transformation project. It also highlighted the platform’s features, which provide a digital environment enabling faculty members, students, and staff to access lifelong learning resources anytime and anywhere.
