University of Basrah Holds Meeting to Oversee Final Examinations for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure full preparedness and maintain high academic standards, the University of Basrah, led by its President Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim Al-Asadi, held an expanded meeting to review the progress of final examinations for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The meeting was attended by senior academic and administrative leaders, including members of the University Council, along with the heads and members of the committees responsible for supervising the examination process.
During the meeting, the University President affirmed the institution’s commitment to providing a secure and well-organised academic environment that reflects the University’s standing and long-established reputation. He noted that adopting unified and well-structured procedures for managing examinations at all levels plays a key role in upholding academic standards and protecting students’ rights.
Dr. Al-Asadi also stressed the need for continuous field presence by the relevant committees, prompt resolution of logistical challenges, and strict adherence to approved regulations to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process, ultimately contributing to the successful completion of the academic year.
