University of Basrah Receives Delegation from Warith Al-Anbiyaa Foundation
The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, received a delegation from the Warith Al-Anbiyaa Foundation, affiliated with the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, to discuss prospects for joint coordination in activating cultural and scientific initiatives between the two sides.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for opening new horizons for academic collaboration. The delegation reviewed the foundation’s research and scholarly output, emphasizing the Shrine’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation with established academic institutions, foremost among them the University of Basrah, in support of the country’s scientific and intellectual advancement.
The University President stated:
“The University of Basrah is always committed to academic and cultural openness toward reputable research institutions. Our cooperation with the Warith Al-Anbiyaa Foundation aligns with our strategy to integrate efforts between academic institutions and specialized centers.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, the visiting delegation presented the Shield of Creativity and Excellence to the University President in recognition of his significant efforts in supporting the academic journey and his role in the success of joint scientific and cultural initiatives, reflecting the strong relationship between the foundation and the university.
