University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Facilitation Strategies and Modern Teaching Methods
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture as part of the Seventh Teaching Methods Course, Unit Five, within the applied specialization track, focusing on facilitation strategies and modern teaching methods.
The lecture aimed to introduce participants to contemporary teaching concepts, distinguish between different types of facilitation strategies and teaching methods, and explore mechanisms for applying them across various academic disciplines.
The lecture, delivered by the Center’s Director, Dr. Mustafa Abdul Redha Kadhim, included an overview of the components of teaching methods supported by practical models. The session sought to develop trainees’ skills and enhance their ability to effectively employ modern approaches within educational environments, in alignment with quality requirements in higher education.
