University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Academic Journals
The College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah organized a workshop titled “How to Select Local and International Academic Journals.”
The workshop aimed to equip researchers with the skills needed to select appropriate academic journals for publication according to rigorous scientific standards, while enhancing the acceptance prospects of their research papers.
The workshop featured several research presentations in which participants discussed mechanisms for selecting local and international journals, methods of communicating with editorial boards, and strategies for increasing publication opportunities. It also addressed the methodology of writing academically sound research, including proper structure, accurate referencing, and adherence to publication guidelines.
