University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Visit to Tamam Dairy Factory
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a field scientific visit for first-year students to Tamam Dairy Company and Factory in Basrah Governorate, under the supervision of instructors from the Principles and Dairy Technology and Engineering Workshops courses.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the various production lines, including the manufacturing of yogurt, milk, cheese, and cream, in addition to providing insight into the technical stages and procedures adopted in the production process.
The program also included scientific discussions on the development of dairy products.
During the visit, the factory’s senior engineer delivered a scientific lecture highlighting modern technologies used in dairy production, contributing to the enhancement of students’ practical knowledge and applied experience.
