The University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Ethical Decision-Making in the Sixth Module for the Humanities Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on ethical decision-making as part of the sixth module for the humanities specialization within the Seventh Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to train university faculty members in the humanities on how to apply ethical decision-making principles in academic work.
Delivered by Dr. Ammar Daeer Falih, the lecture addressed the importance of ethical decision-making in the academic environment and the role of ethics in promoting integrity and transparency in التعليم والبحث العلمي. It also examined the fundamental principles of academic ethics, including honesty, fairness, and respect, in addition to discussing how academics can address challenges that may arise when making decisions affecting teaching and research.
The lecture further presented practical case studies illustrating the impact of ethical decisions on academic life.
