University of Basrah Welcomes Ministerial Delegation to Review Program Accreditation Requirements at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, along with his assistants and the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, received a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for a field visit as part of the procedures for obtaining national program accreditation.
During the visit, the college presented the achievements of its teaching and administrative staff in creating a comprehensive educational environment based on best academic practices and fully compliant with accreditation requirements.
For his part, the University President emphasized that program accreditation is a top strategic priority, noting that hosting the ministerial delegation at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences embodies the integration between the university and the ministry in implementing international quality standards.
Al-Asadi also stressed that the university has dedicated all its scientific and logistical resources to supporting its colleges in obtaining accreditation, thereby ensuring the improvement of academic output and enhancing the University of Basrah's standing in national and international rankings.
