University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Sports
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on artificial intelligence in sports and the application of computer algorithm systems.
The workshop aimed to implement advanced computer systems and algorithms designed to process, analyze, and interact with massive datasets, and to integrate sensors that capture physiological and biomechanical data in real time.
The workshop included a lecture by Qasim Mohammed Sayyah, a faculty member at the college, who explained that artificial intelligence improves athletic performance, prevents injuries, and revolutionizes training, control, and talent identification by analyzing players' mechanisms, health, and tactical game scenarios.
