The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Women’s Rights in the Academic Community
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on women’s rights within the Iraqi academic community.
The workshop aimed to highlight the active role of women in advancing higher education, in addition to addressing the challenges they face and the mechanisms for supporting and empowering women within educational institutions.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by Dr. Khairiya Abdul Jalil, who outlined the applicable laws and legislation that safeguard employees’ rights in general and women’s rights in particular.
