The University of Basrah Enhances Students’ Skills Through a Scientific Visit to Veterinary Laboratories
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific field visit for third-year students from the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources to the Physiology Laboratory at the College of Veterinary Medicine. The visit was conducted as part of the requirements of the Genetics course and under the supervision of course instructors.
The visit aimed to deepen students’ academic understanding through exposure to practical applications within an advanced laboratory environment, while also strengthening scientific collaboration and the exchange of expertise between the two colleges.
The program introduced students to modern laboratory techniques used in the analysis of biological functions and the study of genetic foundations, contributing to the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application and preparing students to work with contemporary laboratory equipment.
