The University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on the Historical Leadership Role of Educational Institutions
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Education for Women, organized a scientific lecture entitled “The Historical Leadership Role of Educational Institutions” in celebration of University Week.
The lecture aimed to highlight the role of educational institutions throughout history and their influence in shaping generations, in addition to reviewing the development of education during the Islamic and modern eras.
Delivered by Dr. Bashaer Mahmoud Matroud and lecturer Sura Mansour Nasser, the lecture featured several themes addressing the evolution of educational institutions and their role in community building.
The lecture recommended the need to develop technological and infrastructural capacities while promoting cultural and environmental awareness among students.
