The University of Basrah Organizes an Awareness Campaign on Drug Abuse
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized an awareness campaign on the dangers of drug addiction and methods of prevention, as part of the activities marking the 62nd anniversary of the University of Basrah.
The campaign aimed to raise students’ health awareness regarding the risks of drug addiction, highlight its negative effects on individuals and society, and introduce preventive measures to help limit the spread of this phenomenon.
The campaign included the distribution of informational brochures and awareness posters throughout the college, in addition to providing direct guidance and educational outreach to students. The activities emphasized the importance of adopting healthy behaviors and avoiding harmful habits.
