The University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Ethics of the Teaching Profession for the Administrative Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture as part of the sixth module of the Seventh Teaching Methods Course for the administrative specialization.
The lecture aimed to enhance the ethical awareness of university instructors, particularly in environments of uncertainty when making decisions.
Delivered by Dr. Munaf Abdulkhazim Mohammed and lecturer Marwa Musa Atwan, the lecture addressed key topics including the distinction between ethics and professional ethics, methods of motivating students, objective assessment, and interactive learning approaches. It also emphasized the importance of avoiding unethical behaviors in academic practice.
The lecture recommended strengthening the consolidation of ethical values and principles within educational practices.
