The University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Visit to Specialized Marine Chemistry Laboratories
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific visit for fourth-year students from the Department of Food Sciences to the Marine Chemistry Laboratories at the Marine Science Center, as part of the requirements of the Quality Control course.
Supervised by several course instructors, the visit aimed to strengthen the practical component of learning and provide students with exposure to the latest chemical analysis techniques, as well as water and food product quality testing methods.
The visit included a field tour introducing students to modern laboratory equipment, quality assurance procedures, and contaminant detection mechanisms. The college emphasized its commitment to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, while students expressed their appreciation for the direct laboratory experience.
