The University of Basrah Organizes a Student Art Festival
The College of Education in Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah organized a student art festival entitled “The Role of Drawing and Handicrafts in Development and Creativity,” held in the college courtyard with wide participation from students and the presence of several faculty members.
The festival aimed to develop students’ creative skills, support artistic talents, and enhance the role of arts and handicrafts in shaping student personality, in addition to encouraging reading and promoting culture through a dedicated book display.
The event featured a diverse exhibition of paintings, handmade crafts, and artistic models, alongside a special section for cultural and literary books, creating a distinctive artistic and cultural atmosphere that witnessed significant engagement from attendees.
