The University of Basrah Organizes a Festival Honoring Students
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a festival to honor students who participated in university student activities during the 2026 academic year.
This initiative was launched to encourage students and motivate young talents to engage actively in extracurricular activities, including sports programs.
During his speech at the festival, Dean of the College Dr. Jalal Yassin Mustafa stated, “Student activities serve as an important outlet for students throughout their academic journey, allowing them to express their talents and abilities while fostering a resilient generation capable of coping with life’s pressures.” He also expressed special appreciation to the Student Activities Division for its efforts in organizing the event in a distinguished manner.
The festival concluded with the recognition of all participants through the distribution of gifts and appreciation awards, honoring the winners and acknowledging everyone who contributed to elevating the college’s presence in student and sports activities.
