The University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Quality in Education for the Educational Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on quality in education as part of the seventh module for the educational specialization within the Seventh Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to introduce trainees to the concepts of quality in higher education.
Delivered by Dr. Nidaa Mohammed Baqir Al-Yasiri, the lecture defined total quality in higher education as a set of characteristics and standards that should be present across all elements of the educational process, including inputs, processes, and outcomes, in a manner that meets the needs and expectations of society as well as the aspirations and requirements of learners.
The lecture emphasized that these objectives can be achieved through the effective utilization of both human and material resources within educational institutions.
