The University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Visit to the Iraqi Central Bank
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a scientific visit to the Basrah branch of the Central Bank of Iraq as part of its activities aimed at developing students’ skills and enhancing their practical experience.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with economic and financial policies, provide insight into the operational mechanisms of the central bank, and highlight its role in maintaining monetary stability and supporting economic development.
The program included a field tour across the bank’s various departments, allowing students to observe institutional decision-making processes within financial organizations.
The visit was supervised by lecturer Yasmin Najm Abdullah Al-Saad, while specialists at the bank delivered comprehensive presentations on the institution’s responsibilities and monetary policy tools, followed by academic discussions addressing students’ questions and inquiries.
