University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Conference on the Challenges of the Digital Age and Artificial Intelligence
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized its international scientific conference on the role of the teacher throughout history: from the traditional role to the challenges of the digital age and artificial intelligence. Researchers and academics from within Iraq and abroad participated.
The conference aimed to highlight the historical significance of the teacher and their impact on shaping future generations, and to explore their future role in light of rapid digital transformations and the development of artificial intelligence technologies.
The conference included five scientific sessions with the participation of 55 researchers from Iraqi universities and the Ministry of Education, as well as researchers from outside Iraq, including those from Algeria, Syria, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The conference recommended documenting the historical achievements of teachers in reform and national movements to strengthen the inspiring educational memory of future generations, and launching national initiatives to support and protect teachers during times of crisis and war to ensure the stability and sustainability of the educational process.
