The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on the Risks of Irregular Migration
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a workshop aimed at raising awareness of the risks of irregular migration in Iraq, including its causes and consequences.
The workshop sought to highlight the dangers associated with illegal migration and to introduce the Iraqi legal framework that criminalizes such practices.
The program featured several research papers in which participants examined the impact of migration on both countries of origin and destination, in addition to discussing appropriate solutions to mitigate the phenomenon of irregular migration.
