University of Basrah Organizes Humanitarian Support Campaign for Specialized Children's Hospital
A delegation of faculty, staff, and students from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah conducted a field visit to the Basra Specialized Children's Hospital, which specializes in cancer treatment, to provide moral and material support to sick children and their families.
The visit included a tour of the hospital wards to observe the patients' conditions and the distribution of financial donations and in-kind gifts to needy families, contributing to easing the burdens associated with treatment.
Those in charge of the initiative emphasized that this step embodies the university's social responsibility, its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups, and its efforts to promote the values of human solidarity among students.
