University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Artificial Intelligence
The College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: Neural Networks and Machine Learning.”
The seminar aimed to introduce the concepts of artificial intelligence and explain its relationship to statistics and data analysis, emphasizing its importance in developing students' skills and enhancing their opportunities in the field of data science.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Asmaa Ayoub Yaqoub and faculty member Zainab Sabih Jumaa, included a presentation of the basic concepts and types of machine learning, as well as a review of practical applications in prediction, data analysis, and fraud detection.
