The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on the Reconstruction of Al-Hadba Minaret
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with UNESCO, organized a workshop on the case study of the reconstruction of the Al-Hadba Minaret.
The workshop aimed to highlight the international and national efforts devoted to the reconstruction of Al-Hadba Minaret in the city of Mosul, as one of the most prominent historical and heritage landmarks in Iraq.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers in which researchers outlined the engineering and technical phases that accompanied the reconstruction process, with a focus on modern techniques employed to preserve the minaret’s original architectural identity.
