The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Nanopolymer Composites
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a scientific workshop entitled “Methods for the Preparation and Characterization of Nanopolymer Composites and Their Diverse Applications.”
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of nanopolymer composites, their preparation and characterization techniques, and their growing role in the development of advanced materials. It also focused on their practical applications, particularly in dentistry, where they contribute to improving the properties and performance of dental fillings. In addition, their use in biosensors and various medical and industrial applications was addressed.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by lecturer Noor Mahmoud Aboud, who reviewed the أبرز modern analytical techniques used in studying these materials, emphasizing the importance of supporting scientific research in Nanotechnology due to its direct impact on fostering innovation and advancing vital sectors.
