The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Criminal Policy in Confronting Crimes
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on modern criminal policy in confronting emerging forms of crime.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of modern criminal policy and its role in keeping pace with the rapid developments in patterns of crime, particularly newly emerging offenses resulting from technological advancement, such as cybercrimes and transnational crimes.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by lecturer Najla Abdul Amir Ramathi, who explained that the world is currently witnessing rapid transformations driven by technological and digital development, which have significantly impacted various aspects of life.
