University of Basrah Organizes Training Course on Preparing Final Accounts
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a training course entitled "Final Accounts," aimed at developing participants' skills in understanding the preparation of final financial reports and methods for organizing them according to approved accounting frameworks.
The course aimed to introduce participants to the concept of final accounts and their importance, as well as explaining their types and how to prepare them accurately.
The course, presented by Dr. Ali Majid Hadi, included an explanation of preparing the income statement as the first final account, along with an explanation of the accounting entries related to closing the accounts.
It also covered the preparation of the balance sheet and identifying its components from the real accounts.
