The University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Selecting Research Topics for the Educational Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture on how to select a scientific research topic, as part of the eighth unit of the Seventh Teaching Methods Course for the educational specialization.
The lecture aimed to familiarize participants with the foundations of selecting research ideas and the criteria adopted in determining educational research topics in line with academic quality requirements.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Zainab Falih Salem, addressed the essential components of scientific research, mechanisms for distinguishing between findings and conclusions, and the importance of formulating recommendations. It also emphasized the need to build upon previous studies and adhere to the ethics of rigorous scientific research.
