The University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Microsoft Office Skills for the Workplace
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education, organized a seminar entitled “Fundamentals and Skills of Microsoft Office Applications in the Workplace.”
The seminar aimed to develop participants’ practical skills in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, in a manner that contributes to improving academic and administrative performance.
The seminar, delivered by lecturer Zainab Subaih Jumaa and researcher Ilham Abdul Samad Al-Tu’ma, included two main sessions. The first focused on data preparation and analysis skills using tables and pivot tables in Excel, while the second addressed the fundamentals of Word, document formatting techniques, the insertion of tables and illustrative elements, as well as the use of advanced tools in collaborative work.
