President of the University of Basrah Inspects Final Exams and Emphasizes Providing a Suitable Environment for Students
The President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, inspected examination halls in several university colleges to monitor the progress of the final exams for the current academic year and to assess the services provided to students.
The tour included visits to classrooms and examination committees, where the university president directly reviewed exam questions, their comprehensiveness in relation to the curriculum, and ensured the availability of amenities such as adequate lighting, cooling, and drinking water to ensure student concentration. He also reviewed attendance records and adherence to applicable ministerial regulations.
During his tour, the university president met with a number of students and supervising professors, emphasizing in his remarks: "The university has dedicated all its material and logistical resources to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. Our goal is not only to assess academic performance but also to provide a suitable psychological and physical environment befitting the students of the University of Basrah and helping them excel."
At the conclusion of his tour, Dr. Al-Asadi commended the efforts of the colleges and committees in organizing the examinations, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the deadlines for marking and announcing results, while stressing the need for accuracy and objectivity to guarantee students' rights and remove any obstacles they may face.
