The University of Basrah Activates Scientific Cooperation with Basrah Environment Directorate
A delegation from the Polymer Research Center at the University of Basrah visited the Basrah Environment Directorate to discuss and strengthen scientific cooperation between the two sides.
The visiting delegation, headed by the Director of the Center, Dr. Zainab Jumaa Swaih, discussed the possibility of organizing training courses and seminars, as well as establishing a joint cooperation mechanism for exchanging expertise and supporting scientific and environmental ideas and projects in line with the Ministry’s directions to develop the environmental sector and enhance partnership among governmental institutions.
The Director General of the Directorate of Environment Protection and Improvement in the Southern Region, Dr. Ali Wahab Ahmed, emphasized the importance of strengthening joint cooperation between governmental institutions, universities, and research centers to support environmental efforts and develop scientific solutions to address environmental challenges.
