The University of Basrah Conducts a Trial Benchmark Examination for Sixth-Year Students
The College of Medicine at University of Basrah conducted a trial benchmark examination for sixth-year students in preparation for the benchmark examination administered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The examination was supervised by the college deanship, represented by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, in coordination with the Central Examination Committee and the heads of the scientific departments.
The examination covered all core subjects for the sixth stage, with students distributed across examination halls in accordance with ministerial regulations, while appropriate conditions were provided to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination process.
The Dean of the College emphasized that the examination aims to assess students’ academic performance and identify areas of weakness prior to the ministerial examination, in addition to familiarizing them with the question format and approved timing system. He further explained that the college had mobilized its academic and logistical capabilities to support students and ensure the success of the initiative.
