University of Basrah Organizes a Training Course on the State Employees' Discipline Law
The Center for Development and Continuing Education held a training course entitled "The State Employees' Discipline Law," with the participation of a number of university staff and employees from government departments.
The course aimed to develop employees' skills and enable them to advance to higher job grades by enhancing their knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
The course, presented by faculty member Sajjad Sabah Adham Al-Hajami, included an introduction to the State Employees' Discipline Law, an explanation of the rights and duties of public employees, and an explanation of disciplinary penalties, the procedures for imposing them, and the mechanisms for appealing penalty decisions.
The course recommended that employees be familiar with their job duties to avoid violations and disciplinary penalties.
