University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on Theoretical Trends in Geographical Research
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a symposium on theoretical and applied trends in geographical research.
The symposium aimed to introduce the theoretical and applied trends that form the basis for understanding and analyzing natural and human phenomena in geographical research in a scientific and systematic manner.
The symposium included the presentation of several research papers in which researchers discussed geographical research and its quantitative and technical applications, exploring the concepts of randomness, arbitrariness, and moderation, as well as the impact of climatic factors on the urban pattern of residential units and informal settlements, and their social and environmental effects in the city of Abu al-Khasib.
