The thesis, presented by student Noor Saad Hanoun, aimed to highlight the role of medical image analysis as a fundamental component of modern healthcare, as it facilitates the accurate detection of diseases.
The thesis consisted of four chapters in which the student discussed four artificial intelligence-supported hybrid architectures designed to improve lung cancer diagnosis using computed tomography (CT) scans and histopathological images for the diagnosis of cancer diseases.
