University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Seminar on Statistics and Artificial Intelligence Applications
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar entitled “Statistics and Artificial Intelligence,” targeting first-year students. The seminar aimed to introduce them to the importance of statistics and its role in artificial intelligence applications and modern data analysis, as well as to raise their awareness of contemporary technologies.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Walid Miya Rudin and Lecturer Noor Ali Sa’ijel, included an explanation of the concept of artificial intelligence and its relationship to statistics. It also highlighted the importance of data in building intelligent systems and presented practical applications of artificial intelligence in daily life.
The seminar recommended strengthening the practical aspect of the subject and encouraging students to develop data analysis skills in line with the demands of the modern job market.
