The dissertation highlighted contemporary global art productions that exhibit characteristics of organic theory, or those works in which artists employ organic materials.
The dissertation concluded that the applications of organic theory create a clear and tangible overlap between the fields of science and art. This is achieved by utilizing the knowledge provided by scientific disciplines in studying living and non-living matter and the nature of its composition, which connects its parts as fundamental pillars in the construction of artistic achievements.
