University of Basrah Achieves Global Recognition as Basrah Journal of Agricultural Sciences Advances to Scopus Q2 Ranking
The University of Basrah has achieved a new international scientific milestone with the inclusion of the Basrah Journal of Agricultural Sciences in the Q2 (Second Quartile) category of the global Scopus database rankings, accompanied by an increase in its CiteScore to 2.0.
This achievement reflects the sustained scientific and research efforts of the journal’s editorial board, researchers, and peer reviewers, as well as the continuous support provided by the University Presidency and the Deanship of the College of Agriculture to advance the quality of scientific research in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
This progress represents a significant addition to the achievements of Iraqi universities, enhancing the global standing of Iraqi scientific journals and creating broader opportunities for researchers to publish their academic work in reputable and internationally recognized scholarly journals.
