University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Education and Learning in the Humanities
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture as part of the eighth Teaching Methods course, Unit 1, for the Humanities. The lecture addressed the concepts of education and learning and their role in fostering a positive attitude towards e-learning.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Ammar Duair Falih, included a review of the concepts of education and learning and their various forms. It also highlighted the most significant obstacles facing the educational process, focusing on developing learning skills and comparing the two concepts.
The lecture included a survey of trainees' opinions on the role of e-learning in developing the educational process and its impact on supporting the modern academic environment and improving university teaching methods.
The faculty member emphasized that education represents a fundamental pillar in developing individuals' capabilities and contributing to societal progress, in line with the requirements and contemporary trends of modern university education.
