University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Teaching and Learning for Education Students
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture as part of the first module of the eighth Teaching Methods course for education students. The lecture addressed the topic of "Teaching and Learning" and their importance in developing the educational process.
The lecture aimed to introduce trainees to the fundamentals of teaching and learning, the difference between the two concepts, and to explain the five pillars of education and the elements and components of the modern educational process.
The lecture, presented by faculty member Naeem Awda Mankhi, included a review of the concepts of teaching and learning through illustrative examples of practical applications. It also involved individual activities, direct questioning to encourage interaction, and assigning training tasks to be submitted later.
