University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Instructional Design
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on instructional design as part of the second unit of the eighth Teaching Methods course in the updated curriculum for the Education specialization.
The lecture aimed to develop the instructional design skills of the trainees and enhance their competence in preparing educational content using modern methods.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Amal Mahdi Jabr and Dr. Anwar Abdul-Qadir Mashi, addressed the importance of instructional design models in supporting the educational process and identifying appropriate teaching methods, with a focus on the ADDIE model as one of the most widely used models due to its ease of application and flexibility.
The lecture emphasized the importance of systematic planning for educational systems to achieve greater effectiveness in teaching and learning.
