University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Instructional Design for Medical Specialties
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture on instructional design for medical specialties as part of the activities of the eighth Teaching Methods course, Unit Two.
The lecture aimed to develop trainees' skills in instructional design and improve their teaching competencies.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Mays Basil Jalil and Dr. Rafid Abdul-Jabbar Mohammed, covered the importance of instructional design models in supporting and developing the educational process, with a focus on the ADDIE model as one of the effective models due to its flexibility and ease of application in various educational and training environments.
The lecture highlighted the role of this model in improving the quality of education by reducing time, effort, and cost, and its adaptability to suit the needs of learners and trainers.
